A Brief History The Gas Equipment Guild of Delaware Valley was formed in 1959. Since then, it has evolved to be the only association in the Northeastern region to cater directly for the needs of the gas equipment, regardless of application or qualification. The Guild’s membership comprises those with interests in gas equipment. It is not possible to list the full range of members’ activities, further details can be found in the Member’s Directory on this site; all, however, are governed by the industry’s twin need to combine quality with safety, while at the same time meeting all the latest environment and legislative requirements. The Guild is the respected authority within all branches of the gas equipment industry, and there are few gas equipment problems its members cannot solve. Part of its increasing and unique strength is the Guild’s ability to attract members from all sides of the gas industry, whether they be concerned with gas equipment or with the latest development applications. The Gas Equipment Guild of Delaware Valley, has a clear vision of its future, in which it will broaden its gas equipment engineering interests and continue to cater for the ever-widening horizons of its expanding membership. From the point of view of gas equipment in all its aspects, the Gas Equipment Guild of Delaware Valley is the place where the disciplines meet, and where leading-edge technology is discussed, analyzed and disseminated. As well as its technical function, the Guild members participate in a broad range of social activities, some of the most well-known of which are the Spring & Fall Membership Meeting and Golf Outing.
